| Services Retail Gas Division The Retail Gas Division contains twenty-five convenience stores that sell motor fuel (gasoline & diesel) and convenience merchandise. These locations are all branded Mobil or bp. Their merchandise offerings include tobacco products, alcoholic beverages, soda, dairy products, candy, and snacks, as well as general merchandise and lottery ticket sales. All locations have a hot beverage service that includes coffee, hot chocolate and cappuccino. The stores are generally open from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., with some locations operating 24 hours a day. Travel Center Division The Travel Center Division operates two full service travel centers that sell motor fuel and convenience merchandise. These locations are branded bp. Additionally, these locations have a full-service restaurant (the Hwy 51 Truck Stop Restaurant) and further cater to the over-the-road truck trade with showers and a driver's lounge. Their merchandise offerings include the same product mix as the convenience stores, with additional emphasis on items desired by truckers (truck accessories and amenities like CB radios). These facilities are open 24 hours. Retail Dealer Division (RDD) The Retail Dealer Division services 75 branded and unbranded fuel retailers who own and operate their own facilities. These independent businesses include convenience stores, full service fuel and repair facilities, and travel centers. In addition to supplying petroleum products to these businesses, the staff of the RDD act as business counselors and as liaison between the branded supplier and the independent dealer. Tankwagon Division The Tankwagon Division handles deliveries of home heating oil as well as gasoline and diesel fuel to agricultural, commercial and industrial accounts. Nine tankwagon trucks load products at our bulk plants or at the terminal for delivery to the end user. Deliveries are dispatched from our Annex office in Wausau. Transportation Department The Transportation Department hauls the fuels and bulk lubricants sold by Riiser Energy. They pick up fuels from the supplier terminals located in Green Bay, Junction City and Wausau, and deliver it to retail locations, the bulk plant or sometimes, directly to the customer's tank. Bulk lubricants are picked up at the supplier lube blending plant in Cicero, Illinois and transported to the lube bulk plant in Wausau. Maintenance Department The Maintenance Department is responsible for all facilities and fleet maintenance. Three technicians maintain the company operated retail locations and plant facilities. Two fleet mechanics are responsible for the thirteen transports and nine tankwagon delivery trucks, two lubricants trucks as well as various small administrative vehicles. Community Involvement Riiser Energy is a family owned and locally operated business with a philosophy that includes community involvement. Since 1945, Riiser Energy has been proud to make this part of the world our home and we’re proud to give back to the community by providing support to many organizations and causes in our area. While Riiser Energy financially supports many organizations, the involvement of many of our associates who donate untold hours of their own time to nonprofit groups is noteworthy and commendable. Riiser Energy’s long tradition of good corporate citizenship illustrates our belief in supporting the communities that support us. We appreciate the support from our customers who purchase products and services from us. Thanks to you, we’re able to help where it is needed. Agencies like United Way, American Red Cross, Boys and Girls Clubs, Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts and others receive ongoing support from associates and at the corporate level. Local school athletic programs and regional foundations are also recipients of funds from us. The list is far too large to completely cover. Of special significance is our annual sponsorship of the Christmas Dinner at the local Salvation Army Community Center. Our company provides the food, including a box of Christmas cookies for each attendee, and our associates serve the meal. Santa visits with all the children in attendance and each child receives a gift that is provided by the company, while local carolers provide background music. Each holiday season, our company participates in many community parades and proudly displays an award-winning float that carries Santa along the parade route. Literally hundreds of agencies and causes receive support from the associates and efforts of Riiser Energy. We are proud of that fact, and enjoy helping to "make a difference." Back to top |
