RIISER ENERGY ANNOUNCES PLANS FOR CNG FUELING STATION

Yesterday, Riiser Energy announced it will be installing a compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling site at the Rib Mountain Travel Center in conjunction with TrilliumHD, a joint venture between Integrys Transportation Fuels, LLC, and Paper Transport, Inc.
Compressed natural gas is a substitute for diesel fuel. The economics are most beneficial for high fuel-usage vehicles, such as those used by regional trucking companies, petroleum haulers, buses, waste companies and transit fleets. Truck engines may be modified and/or purchased to accommodate this new emerging fuel source at a reasonable cost. CNG offers substantial savings for these vehicles compared to diesel or gasoline.
In addition, compressed natural gas can be a cleaner-burning fuel than diesel, reducing vehicle emissions and an operator’s carbon footprint. Because CNG is produced from domestic, natural gas, using equipment from American manufacturers, it is almost exclusively “made in the U.S.A.”
The TrilliumHD technology that will be installed at Rib Mountain Travel center is known for fast fueling times and consistent operation, which is important to fleet drivers. Due to winter construction issues, the facility is anticipated to be operational in late spring. The Rib Mountain Travel Center is located off of Hwy 51/I39 at Exit 188 in Rib Mountain.
